The ice-strengthened, all-suite expedition ship Sea Spirit was built in 1991 in Italy and was fully refurbished in mid 2017, bringing a fresh new design to all cabins and common areas. A migratory ship, she follows the sun in the polar regions, offering Arctic cruises from March to September and Antarctic expeditions during the southern hemisphere summer. With suites accommodating a total of just 114 passengers (the smallest suite being generously proportioned at 20 sqm.), nimble maneuverability and a friendly atmosphere, Sea Spirit is built for adventure. All suites have private facilities and exterior views. Some of the suites feature private balconies for enjoying fantastic landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctica.
An ice-strengthened hull (rated at ice-level 1D), a fleet of rubber inflatable boats for landings (10 Zodiacs), experienced maritime and expedition teams, and retractable fin-stabilisers for smoother sailing make your polar cruise more enjoyable.

Owner's Suite

Super-spacious (43 square metres) elegant suite on the Sun Deck. Designed for entertaining, the Owner's Suite has a separate living room with game and meeting area. A Bose stereo system provides background music, or watch videos on the HD plasma TV. Sliding glass doors lead to a private deck. Refresh in the jetted bathtub in the en suite. Slumber in the King-size bed. A sofa bed can accommodate a third person.
Premium Suite

The Premium Suites are located on the Sun Deck. Averaging a generous 30 square metres, with two twin beds or a King-size bed. Access the private balcony by a sliding glass door. Amenities include: en suite facilities, lounge area, in-room safe, refrigerator, satellite telephone access, TV/VCR, individual temperature control, and hair dryer.
Deluxe Suite

The Deluxe Suites with balconies are located on the Sports Deck. Averaging 24 square metres means plenty of room. Choose from either two twin beds or a King-size bed. A sliding glass door leads to a private balcony. These suites feature a walk-in closet or wardrobe. Amenities include en suite facilities, in-room safe, refrigerator, satellite telephone access, TV/VCR, individual temperature control, and a hair dryer.
Superior Suite

Superior Suites are located on the Club Deck. Averaging 20 square metres in size, these cabins feature two twin beds or a King-size bed. The picture window overlooks an outside walkway on the Club Deck. Amenities include: en suite facilities, walk-in closet or wardrobe, in-room safe, refrigerator, satellite telephone access, TV/VCR, individual temperature control, hair dryer.
Classic Suite

Averaging 21 square metres in size, these cabins are located on the Oceanus Deck. They feature a picture window, two wardrobes and a choice of either two twin beds or a King-size bed. Main Deck Suite

Averaging 23 square metres in size, Main Deck cabins are equipped with either two twins or a King-size bed. They are located on the Main Deck with a minimum of two portholes for exterior views. Amenities include: en suite facilities, in-room safe, refrigerator, satellite telephone access, TV/VCR, individual temperature control and hair dryer.
Triple Classic

Averaging 21 square metres in size, these triple staterooms have two twins and a comfortable sofa bed. The twins also convert to a King, if desired. Located on Oceanus Deck, these suites have a picture window, two wardrobes and en suite facilities. Amenities include: in-room safe, refrigerator, satellite telephone access, TV/VCR, individual temperature control, and hair dryer.
The Restaurant on board the Sea Spirit offers open-seating dining, which means there are no assigned tables. Contemporary, international cuisine is created by talented chefs. The Outdoor Bistro at the Jacuzzi area is an outdoor alternative for lunch. Light meal (hamburgers, soups, pasta, salads, and desserts) are served in the Outdoor Bistro if weather permits.

Sea Spirit is fully equipped for exploration. A knowledgeable expedition team will ensure you get the most out of your voyage, leading excursions ashore aboard the fleet of Zodiacs and offering informative lectures, recaps and briefings in the Presentation Lounge. With state-of-the-art AV equipment the lounge is also a social hub of the ship. The fully-stocked bar and Club Lounge are other great spots to relax and mingle with fellow expeditioners.
Sea Spirit's library is a quiet, cozy place for reading and relaxation. It has an extensive selection of polar books and DVDs, magazines, reference materials and newspapers. The well-equipped gym allows travellers to keep in shape during the expedition (and work off those extra kilos from the sumptuous dining)! The gym is open daily and offers stationary bikes, several treadmills, and some multi-functional training machines.

Talk to the Captain and officers and admire stunning views from the bridge and fix your location on a map of your expedition.
