Dining

Both Stella Australis and Ventus Australis offers international cuisine with an all-inclusive system, theme lunch buffets and à la carte dinners. The bar, which also operates an all-inclusive system, features an international menu with a number of Chilean dishes, along with a wide selection of Chilean wines and spirits among which the Calafate Sour is a favourite.

Features

Both Stella Australis and the new Ventus Australis feature a spacious open top deck for admiring the spectacular southern scenery, as well as a gift shop, game room, infirmary and small library. The expedition team will be in charge of making sure your trip is pleasant, fun, and interesting. They will organise activities onboard in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
You will be able to participate in daily excursions on zodiac boats with expert Patagonian guides.Three lounges are styled with modern audiovisual equipment for the most engaging naturalist lectures. Presentations are given on the different expeditions and are complemented with information of interest on the fauna, geography, glaciology, ethnography and history of the region. During navigation, passengers also have access to a library with extensive literature on the flora, fauna and history of the region, as well as board games and other on-board entertainment.
Spanish and English are the official languages onboard.There is an onboard store. A pre-paid satellite telephone is also available.
