At 35 metres in length, the Eco Abrolhos can accommodate just 32 passengers in twin share cabins on Western Australia's Kimberley Coast. She is a multi-hull vessel supporting four levels of operating decks. This expedition ship is an ideal size with her 17 en suited cabins, all of which are air-conditioned.
Eco Abrolhos offer comprehensive 13 night expedition cruises through the Kimberley, of which there are just eight for the season – four from Broome to Darwin (or vice versa) and four from Wyndham to Broome (and vice versa). The experienced Australian crew pride themselves on showing each and every guest a complete cross-section of all that the magnificent Kimberley has to offer. The cruises start and finish on the spring tide (new and full moon) to provide guests the maximum “WOW” factor at critical tidal areas like Montgomery Reef, The Horizontal Falls and the King George and Berkeley rivers – all of which are at the start or end of the expedition. The neap tides in the centre of the trip allow for better fishing and longer stops at the tide-dependent swimming holes and shore-based hikes. The Kimberley's 11-metre tides mean that this forward planning is a very important aspect of the Eco Abrolhos itinerary.
Eco Abrolhos cruises with four custom-built, high-powered tenders, each seating eight guests in comfort. The folding front stairs make boarding easy for any age.
Fishing is also available throughout the expedition and there are options for both trolling and bottom fishing for quality table fish, which will be expertly prepared by the ship's professional chef. With guided Indigenous rock art tours, scenic gorge and waterfall experiences, bird watching, treks, freshwater swimming holes, incredible sunrises and sunsets, two optional helicopter flights and a complimentary fast boat ride through The Horizontal Falls, The Eco Abrolhos’s 13 night cruise certainly covers the very best that the Kimberley has to offer.

King Bed Deluxe Stateroom

There are five King Bed Deluxe Staterooms located on the Top Deck and one on the Main Deck. All feature private en suites, a king-size bed which can be separated into two singles if required, two bedside tables, desk and a dresser / wardrobe. Each King Bed Deluxe Stateroom also has a window so you can admire the Kimberley landscape as it glides by.
Queen / Double Bedded Stateroom

These four staterooms are positioned on the main deck, two of which offer a queen bed while the remaining two are equipped with a double bed. Three of the four staterooms feature windows or portholes. There's also a private en suite with toilet, shower and basin, a dresser, wardrobe and drawers.
King Single Bunk Cabin

There are three King Single Bunk Cabins located on the Main Deck. They are compact rooms and feature king single bunk beds, private en suite, wardrobe and a set of drawers. Two of the King Single Bunk Cabins offer external views through portholes, whilst one is an inside cabin which does not have exterior views.
Lower Deck Bunk Cabins

There are four Lower Deck Bunk Cabins located on the lower deck. Each cabin has its own porthole, a private en suite with toilet, shower and basin, single bunk beds, drawers and wardrobe. Note that there are stairs down to these rooms.
Lower Deck Single Cabin (Single Traveller)

There are four Lower Deck Bunk Cabins located on the lower deck. Each cabin has its own porthole, a private ensuite with toilet, shower and basin, single bunk beds, drawers and wardrobe. Note that there are stairs down to these rooms.
Eco Abrolhos offers four passenger decks and has a generous passenger to floor space-ratio. She has a large dining and lounge area with the saloon bar, and perhaps the vessel's best feature is her top deck which features 360-degree views of the Kimberley. This is the ideal location to relax with a book, enjoy alfresco dining, lie back on the couch and enjoy the surroundings or sip champagne at sunset while watching the Kimberley come alive with all its colour and glory! The top deck has covered and open areas, a central bar and sliding weather screens on three sides.
Eco Abrolhos's four six-metre custom built, in-survey expedition tenders offer comfortable exploration and maximum safety. With forward-facing central seating and high sides, these are perfect viewing and photo platforms. The folding front stairs make boarding comfortable and easy for travelers of any age and the full walk-around sides make fishing a breeze. With a range of extras like twin rear-opening doors, dive/swim ladders, removable bait boards, electric winches and sun canopies, these tenders make exploring the Kimberley a breeze.
