With seven executive staterooms, MV Great Escape caters for up to 14 guests. Each room is fully air-conditioned and features a queen-size bed, generous private en suite, flat screen television, DVD player and personal fridge.

Guests also have access to the onboard helicopter, which provides a thrilling aerial view of the Kimberley Coast’s enchanting wilderness on the way to the most remote Indigenous art-sites, fishing spots, waterfalls, and swimming-holes.

Or if simple relaxation is what you’re after, the saltwater spa on the foredeck provides a refreshing break during the warm Kimberley days and lets you lay back in style as you cruise through this wondrous landscape.

MV Great Escape comes with state-of-the-art satellite communications technology that includes phone, fax and email, as well as an Apple iPad for guests’ convenience. This way you’ll never be out of touch with the outside world – unless you’d prefer it that way, of course!

You will enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, and three course evening meal, as well as morning and afternoon tea daily, and any special requests or requirements are catered to with special care and attention.

All alcohol is arranged, pre paid, labelled and aboard the vessel prior to travelling.  You will be assisted with this six weeks prior to your cruise.  All beverages are stored onboard and chilled in advance of your arrival on MV Great Escape. There is then no need to pay for drinks onboard and you can enjoy exactly what you like to drink.

Features

Being a custom built 26 metre adventure catamaran, MV Great Escape is sometimes nicknamed “The Floating Brick” due to its stabilising hull configuration – giving you smooth stability on the sea.

MV Great Escape accommodates just 14 guests in 7 stylish guest rooms with en suite, flat screen televisions with real time TV and either horizon or panoramic view large windows allowing you to absorb the picturesque outside world floating by from the privacy of your guest room. Enjoy ample deck space and the eight-person saltwater spa on the foredeck, providing a refreshing break during the warm Kimberley days.

Having an onboard helicopter on the boat enables you a truly 'birds eye' view from the air with access to remote waterfalls, ancient Indigenous art sites and 'secret' land locked fishing locations.  You really will be flying high for incredible aerial pictures.

One of the smallest luxury cruise vessels in the Kimberley, Great Escape offers true flexibility meaning itineraries can be tailored to suit guests on board. It also enables you to see and explore more of the coastline in greater detail than some of the larger vessels unable to access these 'hard to navigate' places. A fleet of aluminium tenders makes fishing and exploratory trips up rivers easy and really adds to the adventure.

Knowing, living and loving the Kimberley, the Great Escape crew are passionate to share with you all the sea excursions and on shore activities.  You will enjoy activities including fishing, mud crabbing, historic tours, beach walks,  picnics, bush walks, bonfire nights, swimming in rock pools & waterfalls, exploring indigenous art sites and so much more …local guides, local knowledge.

The Great Escape team pride themselves on the creation of a truly relaxed atmosphere onboard a stylish vessel, with a genuinely friendly and entertaining six person crew who are committed to ensuring you have the most magical and memorable holiday experience of your life.
