DURATION:6 Days/ 5 NightsREGION:North AmericaSHIP:Sea Wolf
This unique six-day Glacier Bay expedition aboard the intimate Sea Wolf takes you from the ancient rainforest-cloaked shores of Icy Strait up to the barren mountain faces of the east and west arms of Glacier Bay National Park. Hundreds of kilometres of glacial fjords are there for you to enjoy by kayak, hiking, or simply
enjoying the magnificent vista from the ship. On shore excursions there is always the possibility of seeing coastal brown bears, black bears, and even the rare glacier bear. Keep your eyes out for wolves, moose and myriad other land and marine mammals including the humpback whale.

The Sea Wolf (formerly USS Observer) was originally build in 1941 as a US Navy harbour minesweeper and over the years has had many incarnations, firstly as a private family yacht to today's role as an intimate expedition vessel operating small group expedition cruises in Alaska's Glacier Bay. An ocean-going ship that carries 12 passengers plus 5-6 crew in comfort, Sea Wolf is an excellent expedition platform for small ship cruising, wildlife spotting, kayaking and Alaskan whale watching. The Sea Wolf is an incredibly stable vessel and Glacier Bay's waters are generally 'glassy' calm, ensuring a wonderful cruising adventure.
